Job Description

We have a vacancy for a New Business Sales Executive to join our growing outbound sales team located in Poole, Dorset with a salary of £20,000- £25,000 pa, OTE earnings of £45,000 pa plus benefits.

You will be responsible for providing a field focused sales role selling C4L solutions to SME's and the Corporate sector, this role requires you to take a proactive approach in selling and you will be expected to create your own appointments.

You will provide a consultative sales approach to prospective new clients, whilst organising your own appointments and potential sales opportunities through cold calling and other methods as required. You will be responsible for researching new potential clients and contacting them to discuss sales possibilities which fit with their business requirements. You will also be expected to keep up to date with industry news particularly on the development of major corporate clients by monitoring appropriate press.

Essential Skills:

  • 5 or more GCSEs (Or equivalent) at grade A*- C to include Maths and English
  • At least three years experience in B2B sales.
  • A proven record of target driven achievements, negotiation, closing sales and face to face sales.
  • A good technical knowledge and understanding of internet, infrastructure and related services.
  • Excellent communication and inter- personal skills and the ability to interact with clients at multiple levels.
  • A proactive, accurate and methodical approach to work and the ability to manage own workload and whilst remaining calm under pressure.
  • The ability to develop and maintain relationships with businesses and clients.

Advantageous Skills:

  • ITL Foundation.
  • Prince 2 Certification (Or equivalent).
  • 3 years or more experience in B2B sales.
  • Previous experience within a similar role in a technical sales role.
  • Knowledge of the IT industry.
  • Excellent new business generation skills.
