Job Description
We have an immediate vacancy for a new and experienced Account Manager to join our rapidly growing partner channel department at our head office in Poole with a salary of £18,000- £23,000 pa dependant on experience and OTE earnings of £45,000 plus benefits.
Your role will be to:
- Target market sectors and verticals for new partners
- Bring new partners aboard and manage them through their partner life cycle
- Work closely with marketing for campaigns, incentives and to ensure partners are up to date with literature and support material
- Present to new and current clients
- Work closely with technical to ensure partners services operate smoothly
- Meet with existing and new partners to help build business relationships
- Provide quotes and proposals to our partners
- Work on our strategy to our partner channel
- Create and analyze sales reports, identify issues contributing to success or shortcomings and take any corrective action.
- Keep current with our product release information including sales materials, product roadmap, features, applications, competition and disseminate to partners as appropriate
- Meet/Exceed Partner Sales Bookings/Revenue Goals
Essential Skills:
- Account management/sales experience
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to manage a pipeline with multiple accounts and partners
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Proven success prospecting, building a pipeline, moving opportunities through the sales cycle; proposing, presenting and discussing solutions with decision-makers.
- IT understanding and in particular, network infrastructure
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent face-to-face and telephony skills
- Initiative
- Positive Attitude
Advantageous
- Partner Channel experience or managing a partner channel
- Successful achievement of £0.5M+ quotas, consultative enterprise/solution or technical sales
- Knowledge of virtualisation, backup solutions, Cisco, servers hardware
