Connexions4London are one of the UK leaders in datacentre connectivity. We can provide a 10Mbps or 100Mbps or 1Gbps point to point connection between any UK datacenter. Ideal for service providers wishing to connect two locations together or to setup a second location for additional redundancy.

Point2Point can also be used for connecting to your clients in other colocation facilities as a way of substantially reducing overheads on the cost of leased lines and providing higher levels of security and confidence.

Point2Point can provide Ethernet connections between any of our network coverage locations. We are also able to provision connectivity to other locations. Please enquire if your location is not on our network coverage page.

Using VLAN technology, this service is specifically designed for Service Providers requiring private interconnection between their sites or clients/peers. Point2Point provides higher levels of security and confidence on the same cost-effective basis as many competitors' public peering services.

Point2Point is run on the C4L Fibre Network.

• Full-duplex 100Mb/s capacity
• Dedicated IEEE 802.1q VLAN ensures sonly connecting parties exchange traffic
• Standards-compliant interfaces for cost effective connection to customer's backbone router(s)
• Either port may be upgraded to add full public switched peering capability for a one-off fee
• Automated upgrade recommendations: At traffic levels above 65% a higher capacity port will be
• implemented and charges adjusted accordingly
• Rapid provisioning of additional site and expansion
• Available in packages of 1Mbps, 5Mbps, 10Mbps, 25Mbps, 50Mbps, 100Mbps, 200Mbps, 500Mbps, 1Gbps

Customer Requirements:

• Purchase of the Point2Point install at both parties
• No need for Routers. Require 1 Switch as each end, 802.1q capability recommended
• Point-to-point link IP addresses to be supplied by customer
